my dream

My dream is to play University baseball after I graduate from high school in Canada and return to Japan. It would be good if I could play baseball at the next level for a Japanese university for four years. Then I would like to return to Canada and be a relief pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays haven’t won a World Series in many years and I would like to pitch for the team that brings the Championship back to Canada.

I would prefer to play University baseball for four years; I also need to study more to enter a Japanese University. Then I have to be taught how to pitch at the next level from a coach. I heard that the level of play in university is very high. If someone wants to be an ace pitcher on a University baseball team, he has to throw a fastball more than 90 mph and have excellent accuracy. After graduating from university, I would like to play baseball in the amateur leagues while working for a corporation because the amateur league is not a pro league so they don’t pay you to play baseball so you have to work to live. After a few years I wish to be picked in the draft by any team in pro baseball, but first I would have to go through the proper Japanese systems. There are two types of pro baseball systems in Japan. The first type is “the posting system” That is the system that Ichiro Suzuki used to move from the professional Japanese league to the North American baseball league. The other type is “FA (Free Agent) system” That system is the most popular and people are using it to go to MLB from Japan. It doesn’t matter which system I choose, however, I wish to come to play baseball for the Jays in the future. That is my dream.
